A Room Full of Old People

I took a break from drawing portraits of the characters in the Gunpowder project to draw Alexa as a kid. I really like to draw the kid version of her, mainly because

1. I can draw a completely flat chest on a kid body (it's a paaaain with a quasi-adult one)

2. I don't have to draw the hairdo she has now which is actually a lot harder to draw than it seems, for some odd, obscure reason.

The title of the deviation best describes the parties she had to attend because of her parents. For her, it was just a room full of old people. And at that particular moment, a particular old man asks her if she saw the latest episode of a particular cartoon fit for kids half her age, cartoon which she particularly hates. Particularly.

The dress is one of her mother's spawns. On this note, I realized I really like to draw her in fancy dresses. the kind she hates, but looks adorable in. Is it because I also like to draw her annoyed expression? I'm mean to my chars... >.>
